EV3: Protege GPS SE Iliac Stent

Protege™ GPS™ Self-Expanding Peripheral Stent System
The On-Target Stent Placement System
Large Diameters
- 9 mm – 14 mm diameter stents
- 20 mm – 80 mm stent length

Easy & Precise Delivery
- PROTÉGÉ GPS™ Delivery System features a catheter with zones of varying flexibility for optimal pushability and trackability.
- A soft, flexible tip is designed for atraumatic catheter advancement and placement.
- EX.P.R.T.™ Deployment System anchors the stent and essentially eliminates premature stent deploy mentor “jumping.”

Smooth deployment
- Unique inner catheter structure minimizes contact points between inner and outer catheters for smoother stent deployment.
Enhanced visibility
- Tantalum GPS Markers on each end of the stent provides for precise positioning and enhanced visibility.
Optimal Stent Design
- Unique cell design provides the optimal combination of flexibility and radial strength. No flared edges reduces the potential for irritation or damage to the lumen.
EV3: Protege Everflex Plus SE Stent

Protege™ EverFlex+™ Self-Expanding Peripheral Stent System The EverFlex+ Self-Expanding Peripheral Stent System is a self-expanding Nitinol stent system intended for permanent implantation. The self-expanding stent is made of a nickel titanium alloy (Nitinol) and comes pre-mounted on a 6F, 0.035" over-the-wire delivery system. The stent is cut from a Nitinol tube in an open lattice design, and has tantalum radiopaque markers at the proximal and distal ends of the stent.
Translating Clinical Evidence into Innovation
Flexibility and Durability have always been a trade off. ev3 set out to change that. By integrating data from clinical studies with our history of designing innovative stents, we created EverFlex+™, a stent that is more durable than its predecessor, but still retains similar strength and flexibility. That`s durability, without compromise.
Durability
- Optimized architecture redistributes stress across the stent, reducing "hot spots" that contribute to fracture.
- During bench testing of elongated stents the 6mm EverFlex+™ stent ran through nine times more cycles than EverFlex before showing signs of fracture.
- Spiral connection design enables shape retention when EverFlex+™ is placed in tortuous vessels.
- Bench testing of 6mm stents revealed no compromise in radial force with EverFlex+™ when compared with EverFlex.
- EX.P.R.T deployment system holds stent securely in place to prevent premature "jumping"
EV3: Protégé RX Carotid

Carotid Stents
According to the American Heart Association, stroke is the third leading cause of death in the United States behind heart disease and cancer and the major cause of serious long term disability. One of the main causes of stroke is atherosclerosis of the carotid arteries, commonly referred to as Carotid Artery Disease. The build up of plaque in the carotid arteries may lead to a stroke in one of two ways:
- Plaque build up narrowing the blood vessel so that the flow of blood to the brain is blocked
- Pieces of plaque or a blood clot can break off and travel to a smaller artery in the brain, blocking the blood flow in that artery
Treatment options for Carotid Artery Disease include lifestyle modification, medication, surgery and less-invasive procedures such as Carotid Artery Stenting. ev3 offers two product innovations indicated for a carotid artery stenting procedure: The PROTÉGÉ RX Carotid Stent System and the SpiderFX™ Embolic Protection Device.

ParaMount Mini GPS

High Visibility, Low Profile
High Visibility
- GPS™ Radiopaque Tantalum Markers are built into each end of the stent for enhanced procedural accuracy and visibility.
A Low-Profile System
- Comes on both 0.014" and 0.018" guidewire compatible balloon catheter
- Designed for small diameter access - compatible with a 6F guide catheter (5 & 6 mm) and 7F guide catheter (7 mm)
Strength and Flexibility
- Unique cell geometry designed to balance radial strength and flexibility
Precision
- Maintain confidence with ev3’s exclusive Micro-Grip™ Technology — designed to keep the stent properly centered prior to expansion.
- Exhibits minimal shortening at recommended expansion diameters.
EV3: Max & Mega Unmounted BE Stents

IntraStent LD Family of Unmounted Stents
The Power of Flexible Strength
ev3's original large diameter stent design.
- Upon its introduction, this device set industry standards for flexibility and profile, leading to superior deliverability and changed the way clinicians viewed large diameter stents. IntraStent™ DoubleStrut™ LD Stent
IntraStent™ DoubleStrut™ LD Stent
- Unique DoubleStrut design allows unbeatable flexibility
- 8F sheath compatability
- No shortening after expansion up to 12 mm
- Rounded edges minimize potential for lumen trauma
When flexibility is your greatest clinical concern, try the IntraStent DoubleStrut LD Stent
IntraStent™ Mega™ LD Stent
This stent combines the best features of the DoubleStrut LD Stent and the Max LD Stent to create a device that is strong, yet pliant.
- 5 cell design for increased radial strength over the Doublestrut LD Stent
- 9F sheath compatibility
- No shortening when expanding up 12 mm
- Rounded edges minimize potential for lumen trauma
When the clinical situation demands strength AND flexibility, look to the IntraStent Mega LD Stent
IntraStent™ Max™ LD Stent
This stent is engineered for strength and coverage, yet is still very deliverable.
- 6 cell design for maximum strength and coverage
- 11F sheath compatibility
- No shortening after expansion to 12 mm
